J. R. Speake

J. R. Speake joined KUIA as an administrative associate senior in 2024. His duties include event coordination, hospitality and administrative support to staff within the KUIA division.

J. R. holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in music composition from the University of Alabama. While at the University of Alabama, he was a graduate teaching assistant in music theory and composition, associate director of the UA Contemporary Ensemble and assistant conductor of the Huxford Symphony Orchestra.
