2022 International Student Graduation Celebration

KU International Affairs invites graduating international students, their families and friends to the International Student Graduation Celebration. Join us at 1 p.m., Friday, May 13 in the Kansas Union, Woodruff Auditorium (Fifth Floor). A reception will follow in the Jayhawk Room.

Information for Graduating International Students

KU International Affairs is thrilled to celebrate our graduating international students and their many accomplishments. 

  • Graduate students need to check-in at the Jayhawk Room between 12:15-12:45 p.m. 
  • Family and friends should be seated in the Woodruff Auditorium and students must be ready to line up by 12:45 p.m. in the Jayhawk Room.
  • A cake and punch reception will follow the ceremony.
  • Graduating students should wear business casual clothing or cultural dress to the ceremony. This is not a graduation ceremony, so students do not need to wear cap and gown.

Graduating international students must register to participate in the ceremony by Thursday, May 5.

Request a Certificate

Graduating international students who would like a certificate of completion from International Affairs, please email Tiffany Learned with your name and degree.

Send in Photos

Send in your top five photos from your time at KU to display prior to the ceremony. Send photos no later than 12 p.m., Monday, May 9.
