    For international students from partner institutions who are enrolled in an accredited university and college and want to enroll at KU for a semester or year-long academic program

  • Sponsored Student Program

    Support for international students whose tuition and/or fees are paid directly to the University of Kansas by an outside organization, embassy, government or corporation.

  • International Short Programs

    A program that partners with academic and administrative units across campus to design, facilitate and deliver programs for groups of international students, scholars and professionals.

English Learning and Teaching Programs

  • Intensive English Program

    An academic English program that prepares students linguistically, academically and culturally for their program of study.

  • Applied English Special Topics

    Designed for non-native English-speaking students who have completed all of their English language requirements, these classes help international students improve their grammar, speak more confidently and meet academic expectations.

  • TEFL Certificate

    For students who wish to Teach English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), the TEFL Certificate is recognized around the world as an entry-level qualification for a position teaching English.
