About
The Seventh Annual International Jayhawk Festival will return on Thursday, April 13 from 3 to 5:30 p.m. in the Burge Union. The event is an opportunity for all Jayhawks to celebrate our global community and international engagement. The event will include free t-shirts, food, performances, activities and a study abroad fair. All are welcome.
Three Ways to Get Involved
1. International student groups are invited to table at the festival. Groups can display items, pictures, and maps from their home country. Displays should be as interactive as possible, such as including a game, craft, or activity.
Student groups that are tabling can apply for up to $200 to spend on games, activities, prepackaged food, souvenirs and educational posters for their table display!
>> Apply for a Pederson Grant by March 20.
2. Students can model their traditional cultural attire during the International Fashion Show.
3. Students or groups can perform a song or dance from their home country. Performances should stay under 10 minutes and performers can apply for funding through the Student Senate.
