Dan Oetting

Dan Oetting serves as director of strategic communications at KU International Affairs. In this role, Dan manages KUIA's external and internal communications, including the website, social media accounts, newsletters, and annual reports. 

Dan began at KU in 2023 managing communications for the Hall Center for the Humanities. Prior to that he was the editorial director for Earlham College for eight years. He also served in a similar role at Concordia University Nebraska from 2005-2014, providing leadership for the university's magazines, photography, content strategy, website, social media, and strategic communications.
