Title: Ethnic Diversity & Political Stability

Abstract: While the history of many nations is fraught with significant conflicts between rival ethnic groups, other diverse nations have enjoyed long periods of stable governments and peace. My research set out to explore the link between a nation’s ethnic diversity and its political stability. Specifically, I asked the question, “Are nations with higher levels of ethnic diversity more likely to be politically unstable?”
