Donate to KU’s International Student Emergency Fund

9% of KU’s students are international, representing 25% of all international enrollment in the State of Kansas. If an international student needs to return home for a family emergency, needs help with a medical expense or needs financial support to finish a degree when a sponsorship has ended, a robust International Student Emergency Fund can mean the difference between someone having to leave KU or leaving with a diploma. Help us develop the financial support we need to maintain and grow KU’s international diversity.

Help Support Student and Faculty Research Abroad

Funding to support graduate student and faculty research and collaborative engagement abroad is necessary to fulfill a vital part of KU's mission as an international university. Graduate students conduct research abroad with faculty or independently. Faculty from all of KU's schools are involved in a multitude of international research projects and collaborations in every part of the world. We are committed to insuring our students and faculty not only engage in world-class research within their disciplines, but that they have the chance to be a part of an active global research community through travel.

Ensure ALL Students Can Study Abroad

Studying abroad is a transformational educational experience.  Yet for many students the additional expense of international travel can present an obstacle to pursuing this dream.  Your gift in support of student scholarships can ensure all Jayhawks have the opportunity to live and learn abroad while pursuing a KU degree.

***Expand the Impact of Your Gift***

To show Jayhawks the world, alumna Christine Pederson has generously offered to contribute $40,000 in scholarship support for students attending the International Summer School in Oslo, Norway if we receive 50 gifts to any study abroad scholarship fund. Support your passion while helping us meet this challenge to unlock this tremendous offer.
