Title: Nutritional Programs in Drought-Stricken Zambia

Abstract: The current drought in southern Zambia is the worst in living memory. I will discuss efforts to fight the crippling drought along with nutritional programs that I have worked with in this southern African nation. I will explain the reasons behind the high rates of stunted and underweight children, and how organizations are working with community health workers to educate people on proper nutrition.
