Membership applications are accepted in the fall of every year. The application deadline for the 2019-20 academic year is Tuesday, October 1, 2019. The Board reviews applications after the deadline, and applicants will hear about their membership status shortly thereafter.

Induction Ceremony

Those who are selected will be inducted at the Phi Beta Delta induction ceremony.  If you are selected, save and complete the Membership Acceptance Form below and email to, and make payment online using the button below, OR send the completed Acceptance Form and a check or money order payable to PHI BETA DELTA in U.S. dollars to the following address: PBD c/o KU Intnerational Affairs, University of Kansas, 1450 Jayhawk Boulevard, Room 300, Lawrence, KS 66045-7535.

The initiation fee for new members covers all materials required for induction, as well as society and local dues for the first year ($35 for students, $55 for faculty, staff, and scholars). Click here for information about renewal fees.
