The University of Kansas is dedicated to offering the highest quality support services to sponsoring organizations and sponsored students so that both may achieve their educational objectives.

A sponsor is any government agency, corporation, embassy, foreign government or third-party that agrees to pay for all or part of a student's expenses while at KU.

The International Programs Sponsored Student Program provides a central point of contact to ensure sponsoring organizations and the students they sponsor are supported while at KU.

The sponsored student coordinator assists with campus policies and procedures from the point of inquiry and application through graduation. The sponsored student coordinator facilitates and expedites communication between the sponsor, sponsored students, as well as KU offices and departments, such as International Recruitment and Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate Admissions, Applied English Center, Student Account Services and academic departments as well as other resources on campus.
