Sponsored Students


The University of Kansas welcomes sponsored students to campus to pursue non-degree or degree programs. KU is committed to providing support services to students and sponsoring organizations. KU hosts over 260 sponsored students and partners with approximately 40 sponsoring governments, corporations and organizations.

International Programs provides a dedicated Sponsored Student Coordinator for students and sponsoring organizations. New sponsors are welcome and can contact the coordinator, Celeste Yaluk, at celestem@ku.edu for more information about the services provided.

Who are sponsored students?

A sponsored student is any student whose tuition and/or fees are paid directly to the University of Kansas by an outside organization, embassy, government or corporation.
