Financial Details for Sponsors

A sponsor is any government agency, corporation, embassy, foreign government or third-party that agress to pay for all or part of a student's expenses while at KU.

Third-party billing services are provided by the Bursar's Office. Financial Guarantees or Terms of Awards are to be filed with the Bursar's Office before the beginning of the academic term. Updated guarantees or terms should be submitted to the Bursar's Office for any program extensions or when guarantees expire.

Sponsors must promptly pay invoices from the University of Kansas, otherwise, unpaid charges on sponsor invoices will be transferred back to the student and future sponsorhips will not be accepted.

Contact the Bursar's Office, bursar@ku.edu, or the sponsored student coordinator, celestem@ku.edu, with questions.
